Why you should never worry about charging clients what you’re worth

It’s time we stopped assigning value to ourselves based on how much we charge and it’s time that people stopped using our level of self confidence as a way of manipulating us to buy their products and services. How much you charge, or don’t charge can definitely be a reflection of what you feel you are worth however the answer is not to charge what you are worth.

The answer is to change your sense of worth. Create a sense of worth that is healthy, tied to your intrinsic value, as it should be and then charge what is fair for your services, based on what the market will pay, supply and demand, your customer base and all the other goodies that generally go into pricing. Let’s leave your worth and self esteem out of it.

Because my darlings, if you were really charging what you were worth, no one could afford you.
